We are developing hAP cells (holding Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient cells), combination pharmaceutical products consisting of "drug" and "living cell". |

The hAP cell we are developing is a combinational pharmaceutical product composing of conventional drugs, which is encapsulated in PLGA, and human cells. Once administrated, the hAP cells accumulate at the injury sites along the composing cellular intrinsic function and release the encapsulated drug.
As tremendous hAP cell types can be developed upon the selection of adequate drug and cell, variety of diseases are potential target of the hAP cells.
Our first pipeline of the hAP (statin) cell progress to in vivo efficacy study and soon steps forward to set-up for GMP-complied manufacturing process and GLP-complied safety studies. We have also started collaboration with Japanese pharmaceutical company to develop different hAP cells using various drug candidates.
