We have carefully selected microalgae containing high concentrations of fucoxanthin and developed a proprietary microalgae cultivation technology that enables stable, continuous, high-density mass cultivation. The technology is characterized by the use of a large reactor based on a proprietary microalgae cultivation-specific design, which enables continuous, high-density mass cultivation of microalgae. In addition, the risk of contamination and inclement weather has been greatly reduced by completely indoor cultivation. The CO2 reduction effect (Carbon Capture Utilization; CCU) due to closed culture can also be visualized. By using our proprietary 2-ton microalgae continuous cultivation system “MOMO.”, we have achieved one year of continuous cultivation and continuous harvesting, contributing to a large and stable supply of fucoxanthin, which was previously impossible.
