Mission/Background :
We are providing microbial cells and systems mainly for converting various biomass resources into useful materials. For the biotechnological industry, we also provide industrial plants that are designed and fabricated by Kansai Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. Our key technology includes “cell-surface engineering” that enables efficient and energy-saving bioprocess. Since founded in 2001, we have been collaborating closely with the academic and industrial world to develop the innovative process. Such a research & industry network ensures high standards for the products and services offered by Bio-energy Corporation. |
Technology & Business
|
Cell-surface engineering technique provides arming-microoganism, which displays functional enzymes and enables a multiple reaction on the displayed enzymes. Unlike conventional process, enzymes can be prepared through an extremely simple procedure, leading to cost-effectiveness for industrial bioconversion process. Now this system is applicable to various functional enzymes including amylase, cellulase, and lipase, we are ready to offer the specialized processes for the production of ethanol, biodiesel, and lactic acid.
