Mission/Background :
Fermenstation is providing a solution to upcycle and circulate unused biomass using its proprietary fermentation technology.
Utilization of unused biomass remains to be solved. However, to overcome this issue, a solution capable of upcycling a wide range of unused biomass to a variety of appropriate products is expected. Here, we provide a solution based on our fermentation technology platform that allows us to handle diverse unused biomass and turn them into value-added products.

We established a technology platform comprising of a proprietary database of unused biomass and libraries of enzymes and microorganisms. The platform allows us to saccharify diverse biomass and obtain crude products in which target compounds are overproduced in a tailor-made fashion for our clients. For instance, Compounds such as alcohols, carboxylic acids, sugar derivatives etc. can be generated by designed saccharification and fermentation processes from unused biomass. Moreover, our processes do not generate waste. This is because non-genetically modified microorganisms are adapted in our processes whereby sediment from fermentation can be turned into cosmetic ingredients and livestock feeds, resulting in no waste.
