Mission/Background :
I.B Corporation creates value in bovine perinatal medicine, health & beauty, and food exports. In bovine perinatal medicine, it analyzes cattle health and environment to provide preventive solutions, supporting livestock development. In health & beauty, I.B develops its own supplements and cosmetics, expanding through exports. In food, it delivers Japanese fish and rice worldwide, promoting food culture and revitalizing local industries. Through diversification, I.B achieves social value and growth. |
Technology & Business
In the field of bovine perinatal medicine, I.B has developed a proprietary blood testing system (analyzer and reagents) based on its accumulated expertise. A dedicated reagent plant was established at the Osaka Saito Innovation Center, where the company acquired licenses for the manufacture of veterinary in-vitro diagnostics, and sales of the system began in October 2022. The analyzer is compact and lightweight (W150×D169×H169mm, 2.2kg), designed for on-farm use with a wide operating range (-10 to 40°C) and versatile power options (AC100–240V, DC12/24V). The exclusive reagents allow testing with whole blood, serum, or plasma, enabling up to six parameters in about seven minutes—a highly practical solution for veterinarians working under tight schedules across multiple farms.

Highlights
I.B is testing a new panel focused on liver function diagnostics for dairy cattle, requested by a European distributor through market research and university collaboration. If effective, it will move to domestic approval and export, with 1.5 years of validity data already secured. Under the GoTech program, I.B is also developing new items, adding immunological parameters via aggregation turbidimetric method to enhance nutritional status management for dairy and beef cattle.
Alliance strategy
First, I.B considers it urgent to identify, secure, and expand overseas distributors for the blood analysis system for dairy and beef cattle, prioritizing increased production, reduced fixed costs, and improved profitability. Next, the company aims to advance joint research and development to leverage its accumulated technology and is seeking partners for applying this technology to markets beyond livestock, including other animals and humans.
