Nahls Corporation Ltd. is a university-originated R&D startup established for the purpose of manufacturing and selling Nahlsgen, a new ingredient that supports aging care (developed for the first time in the world based on the results of joint research between Kyoto University and Osaka City University). Based on R&D, under the theme of "pursuing not only profit but also safety and security, and caring for the environment", we aim to be a bridge between "people" and "healthy and comfortable lives" by promoting collaboration and cooperation with related fields, including universities and other public institutions. |

Nahlsgen is a cosmetic ingredient based on a new concept of invigorating skin cells. It stimulates the production of aging care substances (collagen, elastin, etc.) in the skin's own cells, reduces wrinkles and sagging, makes the skin firm, and reduces dark spots and blemishes. It has also been shown to improve the barrier function and promote wound healing. In this way, Nahlsgen is not just an anti-aging cosmetic product, but is also expected to reduce various health risks caused by the deterioration of the skin with aging.
In 2012, we began selling a cosmetic ingredient with Nahlsgen as its main ingredient. Its range of applications is diverse, with skin care products being sold in 2013, hair care cosmetics in 2018, and oral cosmetics in 2019. We are also developing Nahlsgen successors as quasi-drugs and pharmaceuticals, primarily in the fields of ophthalmology and dermatology.
By improving skin function, we aim to help improve skin diseases and extend healthy life expectancy.
